dc.description.abstractPeptides have emerged as versatile entities in the pharmaceutical industry by playing pivotal roles in drug discovery, development, and targeted drug delivery systems. While, the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved 60 peptides, and more will soon be available for purchase. In this review we provide a brief overview of the multifaceted applications of peptides, highlighting their significance in pharmaceutical research and therapeutics.
