Sound pollution, one of the current environmental
issues, arises from myriad sources ranging from traffic,
construction, and industrial activities to aircraft/
spacecraft, loud music, and other household appliances.
As per the World Health Organization (WHO)
standards, sound waves above 65 decibels (dB) are
considered as polluted noise
