Abstract
Antimicrobial peptides (AMPs) are known as natural
antibiotics produced by animals, plants, and bacteria.
Even though AMPs have been identified as the most
promising alternative to conventional molecules used
against infections, some of them may have other activities
such as defense mechanisms, or even regenerative.
