Abstract

Environmental exposure to endocrine disrupting chemicals (EDCs) like bisphenol A (BPA) is increasingly linked to the development of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM). BPA disrupts glucose regulation and insulin signaling, and its structural analogues and derivatives, introduced as substitutes, show similar biological activity.
